The game proved to be a disaster right after its release as it was filled with bugs and according to many gamers, it was unplayable on consoles. The game cost the studio over $316 million to make (not to mention that even the Polish government funded $7 million for its development), passing even the likes of GTA5 and Modern Warfare 2 and becoming the video game with the biggest budget.

After September 2022 the number of concurrent players of Cyberpunk 2077 is increasing and it seems that it is gaining back its lost charm & popularity. The game also employs a fast travel system that lets you traverse large distances in a relatively shorter time.
