Many people said that there were many traits of Rio in the depicted city and also that the accent of the actors does not complement the characters.

Wei is tasked with infiltrating and destroying Sun On Yee, a Triad organization. Shen has to find a way to balance his activities while proving himself loyal to the organization and also completing his police duties. Shen is sent on various missions by the Triad boss against the rival Triad branch.

The map of the game can be explored on foot or on a vehicle (cars, boats & motorbikes). Activities that a player can perform while not following the linear gameplay include street racing, carjacking, visiting a karaoke bar, joining a fight club, etc. The game also features several potential girlfriends for Shen, if they’re dated successfully, Shen receives various rewards and bonus content.

At the start of the game, most of the map is under Nazi control but on completing the main and side missions, the areas are slowly liberated and won back.

The player can explore the germans-occupied Paris, the French countryside, and some parts of Germany. One of the main features of the game is the color in which the environment is depicted. The areas which are under Nazi control are shown in black and white but when they are liberated from their clutches, all the colors get back to normal.
