Sons of the Forest Gameplay Features
Coming to the gameplay of Sons of the Forest, like its predecessor, this game also takes place on an isolated, abandoned island, where the player is sent to a remote island to find and rescue a billionaire, instead, their helicopter crash lands before they can truly begin their mission.
Now, players must hunt, scavenge, build, and survive the various threats present on the abandoned island, most notably the numerous savage cannibals who make a triumphant return in this game as well, only this time they are made to look meaner and more vicious than before.

Several new gameplay mechanics have been added to the game to give players a more immersive survival experience. At the time of writing this post, gamers looking to play Sons of the Forest will only be able to do so on PC, that too the developmental Early Access mode.
As far as other popular platforms like Xbox and PlayStation are concerned, there has been no official word or confirmation from the game’s developers, Endnight Games Ltd., on this topic.
It is, however, worth pointing out that the first game in the series, The Forest, also initially launched only on PC before being released on PlayStation 4 devices sometime later.
